Globally Distributed TURN Servers

VideoRoaming Distributed TURNMNS operates globally distributed TURN (Traversal Using Relays around NAT) servers delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS). The service is an add-on to the VideoRoaming service and ensures assisted firewall traversal as close to the user as possible.

Video Conferencing endpoints with support for ICE (Interactive Connectivity Establishment) and STUN (Session Traversal Utilities for NAT) can connect with VideoRoaming's Distributed TURN available to the closest of VideoRoaming's 11 Access Points:

  • North America: Ashburn, Atlanta, Los Angeles and San Jose
  • Europe: Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London and Oslo
  • APAC: Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney

The VideoRoaming distributed TURN service ensures low latency as media traffic stays as local as possible while signaling traffic takes place between the endpoints and the Provisioning Server. The service is supported by several video conferencing software endpoints and codecs from various vendors/manufacturerers, and is currently being used by 200.000+ registered endpoints.
